Find a Pharmacist directory
Walgreens recognized that customers value more than just a convenient location when choosing a pharmacist. A company-commissioned survey revealed:
About 70% of customers prioritized clinical training and expertise alongside location.
Over 30% desired the ability to search for pharmacists based on specific health needs.
Nearly 75% who know their pharmacist consider them a crucial part of their health team.
We created the “Find a Pharmacist” directory to connect customers with specific needs and health conditions to the pharmacists who could best meet their requirements.
Role:
I collaborated with a cross-functional team of UX and product designers, a product manager, and a web developer to create the "Find a Pharmacist" online directory.
Approach:
User research indicated customers wanted to search for pharmacists based on training, language, and clinical specialty.
I also partnered with the Walgreens clinical team to ensure these search filters were accurately represented in the directory, empowering customers to easily find the right pharmacist for their needs.
Impact:
The "Find a Pharmacist" directory was recognized with a silver medal in the Winter/Spring 2013 Web Health Awards in the "Directory/Ratings/Guides" category.
Appointment Scheduler
I partnered with UX, product, and development teams to create a seamless online appointment booking experience for Walgreens customers.
Approach:
Through carefully crafted microcopy, we guided users through each step of the process, making it easy for them to schedule vaccinations and health tests online..
Impact:
This project directly contributed to an increase in online bookings by 10 percent.
